I went for a stroll around Anglessey Abbey today. The unseasonally mild weather meant that there were still roses in bloom, spring flowers were early and there were bees !

The garden is a rewarding visit at any time of the year.

It's been longer than anticipated! I want to do this once a week.

Anyway this week are some pictures from Norfolk taken in Sept 2010.

A bit of a contrast they are. The first batch of 5 are from a stroll around Swaffham market on the way up. Urban shots work quite well for black & white i think.

The second batch are at Morston Harbour on the North Norfolk coast. A less typical scene for b&w but again I think these work.

To be honest today was very black and white! There was no blue skies to greet my last visit to the capital!

So lets look back to August 2010!

The Norfolk Coastal Path

I was on the Norfolk coast on Saturday and went for a stroll along the Norfolk Coastal Path between Burnham Deepdale and Brancaster.

Obviously I'd rather do the walk in the summer than November but it was a very pleasant stroll. The website for the path suggests a number of walks and I'll try and do a few of these next year.

Some pics....

Pubs frequented were the Ship at Brancaster for a drink - out of Adnams! And the White Horse at Brancaster Staithe - nice bowl of soup but pricey and no bread! In case you think I'm a grumpy git (well.....) the Deepdale Cafe at Burnham Deepdale does a cracking breakfast.
