Christmas is not magical for everyone.....

A break from Paris.....

I was in London at the weekend. Millions will be spent over Christmas in Oxford Street but for some......

If you check the sign to the left and above the door...... quite ironic....

We'll always have Paris

For someone who before this year had only been to Luxembourg on business a trip to Florence was an event. However from summer in Florence to Autumn in Paris.

Here are some highlights from day 1.

Thre were lots of cafe's on the street.

Notre Dame.... not my favourite French church.... that is coming!

And lots of stalls on the Seine selling art  and books

Sherborne Town, Abbey and Castle

The town of Sherborne is my sort of place. A lovely olde world town with lots of independent shops, a lovely Abbey church and out of town there is Walter Raleigh's old home... Sherborne Castle.
