I like Norfolk, and not just because I'm a birder, I had many family holidays there so have many happy memories.
Felbrigg Hall is now in the care of the National Trust and I love pottering about it's grounds.
The walk to the lake leads you through fields of cows.
On the way to the lake you come across the Church. The village seems to have moved and left the church alone.
The house, although comparively large, is not in Norfolks first rank (Holkham, Houghton and Blickling get that honour with the Queen's residence of Sandringham attracting tourists) but it is one I like.

Sandringham & Holkham
In the middle of Winter it is nice to look back on warmer times.
A few pics from my trip to Norfolk with my Dad a few years back, curiously I'm taking him back this year.
Dad listening to BBC Radio Norfolk on my work phone!
A few from around Sandringham
Holkham Hall
The walled garden has been let to go to terrible state and it will be interesting if two years has seen the restoration make any progress.
Dad scrumping an apple..... incorrigible

Constable Country
Although it was cold yesterday the sun shone and I took a trip up to Flatford Mill and Dedham, both of which were the subjects of John Constable.
The National Trust tea room at Flatford is recommended, the cakes were lovely.

Historic Norfolk
A visit to Norfolk on Saturday for some birdwatching sort of got blown in land by the wind!
St Andrew's church, Little Snoring. The church is old which makes you wonder why the tower (which was obviously once attached to a building) is detached.
And the wonderful Blickling Hall (which I will visit again in May).
