Belton

The fine National Trust house at Belton has been used in many period dramas including Pride & Prejudice and it is one of the trusts most visited properties.

Clumber

Clumber was one of the dukeries (a selection of Dukes lived in the area). The house is long gone but the fine park still exists as does GF Bodley's Chapel

When you walk to the ruins from the visitors centre seeing Abbot Huby's tower appear is a startling site,

I've just come back from a holiday in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire ....

Here is Gunby Hall in Lincolnshire..... although a grand house it also has a degree of liveability! The garden is particularly lovely.
