After the cold interlude let us head back to our tour of historic Norfolk. Today we'll visit Oxburgh Hall.

Oxburgh is a moated medieval manor house now in the care of the National Trust but I believe the family are still resident.

Dad not quite keeping out of shot :D

The Bedingfield family are Roman Catholics hence there is a private chapel.

The adjacent parish church looks like it is ruined. In 1948 the tower and spire collapsed. The chancel is still used as the parish church and the Bedingfield chapel as a wonderful collection of Terracotta tombs.
