Sunday in Paris

So many places to see! It was apparent that there were some placeswe wanted to see that we wouldn't get to!

Where we headed to first would depend on the weather. We woke to sun and so went to the Jardin du Luxembourg.

Here is "our " restaurant :)

The garden was packed with joggers and people walking. There was also a nice selection of birds Treecreeper, Nuthatch, Blackcap and Parakeet.

We stopped for a drink at the garden cafe (probably the worst service we had ).

And so on to the Pantheon. It has been a church, mausoleum for the dead of the revolution etc. Whatever it's a lovely building...

The Tour St-Jacques. The church was pulled down in 1802 and the tower used as a weather station.

We headed on to the Georges Pompidou Centre

No intention of looking in . We were just soaking up "the vibe" of the City. We stopped to eat (Omelette and wine) overlooking the Stravinsky Fountain.

We headed to the Jardin des Halles which is now a massive building site ! But the church of St Eustache is amazing.

Unfortunately  I noticed a no cameras sign and so despite others ignoring it I didn't.

We then headed for the Palais Royal

These young musician are called Classique Metropolitan. They are from the music school and are the first to EVER have me put money into a hat!!

And then to our last meal!! It was a good one though!

City scapes seem to work really well in B&W.. particularly like #no 18 but they're all good.

So much to see and time went far too quickly.. a revisit is needed eh.... and our last meal at La Petite Chaise was again, excellent.... :)
