So it is Wednesday and we headed to Padua/Padova, a nice small city that has the vibe of a university town. The reason for goingis to see the Scrovegni Chapel and its amazing Giotto frescos. Obviously they don't work really in B&W but trust me they alone are worth going to Padua for.

The sights of Verona
After the trip to Lake Garda and two more trips planned we spent the day walking around Verona including visiting its fine Roman arena.
The Basilica San Zeno
Well I'm used to seeing beggars with dogs but guinea pigs??
Verona's duomo
Dramatic sky.
The Giardino Giusti, originally planted in 1580
with some raining coming we went back to the hotel.
And then later went for a stroll....
